New Decade, New Identity

We insist, the ‘20s have begun, and we’ve updated our name spelling and logo to celebrate!

Welcome to the ‘20s (we’re sure of it)

We rang in 2020 with debate swirling over whether or not we’d just turned the page to a new decade. Even old media stalwart the Farmers’ Almanac covered the debate back in December with NPR Chicago and countless others weighing in.

In my opinion, nobody has this one wrong, and the debate gives us a unique opportunity to talk about accuracy and truth.

Accuracy matters but often less than spirit

Chronology.

A.D. started with Year 1, and so every decade ends with a “10 year,” like 2020. Bookkeeping. Records. History. Order. We get it. So, we technically have eleven more months left of the 2010s. Wait a minute; isn’t 2010 part of the 2000s?

Turns out truth doesn’t always have to be accurate. Of course the ‘20s have begun. It’s 2020!

2020 – the vision feels contagious

With the ‘20s obviously underway (even if they’re technically not), at PR Return, we’re changing the way we spell the name and unveiling the new logo, URL and website at www.pr-return.com, but while so much has changed, really nothing’s changed. We’ve always been called PR Return. We’re just making it a little clearer for people … in 20/20.

Aside from the identity upgrade, PR Return brings the same great senior counsel and results-focused media relations we’ve always offered clients, and we’ve kept that focus clear for nearly 15 years now. Of course, we supplement media relations with digital media, and who wouldn’t want to amplify the credibility of editorial media coverage with paid promotion to reach a wider audience? We’ll keep improving our approach, but we’ll always be focused on media and analyst relations, building credibility for clients, and the same core values: senior counsel, accountability, trust and integrity.

We hope the new identity helps others see us more clearly, and we’re excited to enter the ‘20s with a renewed focus, passion and commitment to clients and PR Return.
